Offer description

Signing bonus valued at $2,000 to be paid in two installments: first $500 after 90 days of employment, followed by $1,500 after 180 days. Bonus is only payable if the employee is in good standing continuously through each payment date. Only candidates hired externally are eligible during the applicable offering period.

$73,070 total: base $29,070 + commission.


Core Responsibilities

* Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Comcast products, promoting and selling offerings to individual customers.
* Communicate and develop rapport with customers, evaluating their needs and making recommendations to increase understanding of Comcast products and pricing.
* Possess expert knowledge of selling reflective of required relevant experience.
* Create and execute turf management plans independently.
* Show confidence in selling ability.
* Display competent time‑management and organizational skills.
* Meet and exceed sales goals as established by local market; independently organize daily sales activities; generate business through approved lead‑generation methods; achieve product installation goals.
* Maintain a consistent record of success in residential canvassing sales with emphasis on business‑to‑consumer sales.
* Display thorough understanding of video, high‑speed internet, voice and XFINITY Home.
* Show effective communication, organizational and people skills, and strong customer service.
* Illustrate strong technical capability (computer, billing system, databases).
* Meet physical requirements of the job, including walking or traveling door‑to‑door in all weather.
* Obtain and maintain any necessary credentials or licenses for selling/designing alarm systems.
* Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
* Maintain regular, consistent, punctual attendance and work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as required.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation

Base Pay: $29,070.00

Target Compensation: Base Pay plus Targeted Commission $73,070.00. Our sales compensation programs offer significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve. Base pay is part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission under applicable plans, while most non‑sales positions are eligible for a bonus.
