Your Role as a SEN/SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH needs, and other educational challenges.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools, guiding them on their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute each tutoring session to meet the unique needs of your students.
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that foster educational and social-emotional growth.
* Document lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional educational needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.
Important: You must prioritize the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Details:
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
