Project Management Degree Apprenticeship – 42‑month fixed term contract

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is looking for a Project Management Degree Apprentice to lead innovative projects that make a real impact across one of the world’s most dynamic organisations.


What You’ll Do

Work on real projects that have tangible business impact. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead planning sessions, support initiatives that benefit Amazon’s customers and employees, coordinate resources, manage risks, and use data‑driven insights to track performance and deliver successful outcomes.

* Support strategic planning and contribute ideas that drive positive change

Your Development

This 42‑month programme, starting September 2026, combines on‑the‑job learning with structured study time to earn a BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management. You’ll spend 80 % of your time working in your business area and 20 % on dedicated learning, which may include travel to a training centre.


Key job responsibilities


Project Planning and Delivery

* Manage and support projects to achieve objectives, timelines, and budgets
* Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with business priorities
* Identify risks early and collaborate on mitigation strategies
* Use data‑driven insights to monitor progress and recommend improvements


Stakeholder and Communication Management

* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Communicate clearly and confidently with diverse teams and senior leaders
* Present project updates using dashboards, metrics, and reports to highlight impact


Continuous Improvement and Innovation

* Apply analytical thinking to evaluate processes and identify areas for improvement
* Champion innovation and simplification in your area of responsibility
* Support strategic planning sessions and contribute ideas that drive positive change


A day in the life

* Collaborate with stakeholders on efficient project planning and execution
* Participate in planning meetings to align on goals and milestones
* Track project progress using data and reporting tools
* Identify and mitigate potential risks or blockers
* Coordinate resources and timelines to meet deliverables
* Present project updates and insights to stakeholders
* Support process improvement initiatives to simplify workflows and enhance efficiency
* Learn from experienced project and program managers through mentorship and coaching
* Balance studies with real‑world application, dedicating 20 % of time to degree learning
* Contribute to Amazon’s culture of continuous improvement and innovation


About the Team

Apprentices work across a diverse range of Amazon teams – from HR and Operations to Technology and Entertainment – supporting people programmes, driving tech innovation, optimising processes, and contributing to projects in entertainment businesses. Team allocation is driven by business need, so flexibility and curiosity are key.


Basic Qualifications

* 18 years or older before September 2026
* Right to live and work in England for the duration of the programme
* Lived in the UK or EEA for the last 3 years and will remain resident for the programme length
* Not registered on another government‑funded course ending August 2026 or later
* At least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths and English
* 3 A Levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above
* Statement of Comparability for non‑UK qualifications if required
* Not already holding a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level
* Little or no prior occupation knowledge/experience
