SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Maidstone
Full-time | Term Time Only
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
* Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to deliver tailored interventions.
* Support students in accessing the curriculum and developing social and communication skills.
* Create a safe, positive and nurturing learning environment for all pupils.
What We\'re Looking For
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN (either in a school, care, or youth work setting).
* A calm, patient and adaptable approach to working with children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine desire to support the learning and development of children with additional needs.
Qualifications
* Qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certificate, Team Teach, or relevant SEN training are desirable but not essential.
