GSL Education are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join schools in the Conisbrough (DN12) area. This role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging History lessons, support students’ academic growth, and contribute to a dynamic and collaborative school environment.
Responsibilities as a History Teacher:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of pupils across Key Stages.
* Support pupils’ critical thinking, analytical skills, and overall academic progress.
* Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning atmosphere.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best teaching practices.
* Provide constructive feedback and assess pupil progress in line with curriculum requirements.
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
Requirements for History Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History is desirable.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to engage and inspire pupils of varying abilities.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
