Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of production by coordinating schedules, managing resources, and optimising supply chain processes.
We require the person to be on site at our Head Office in Crewe 3 days per week
Duties
* Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
* Coordinate with various departments, including procurement and quality, to ensure alignment on production goals.
* Utilise Sage systems to track production progress and adjust schedules as necessary.
* Monitor supply chain processes to identify potential bottlenecks or delays and implement solutions proactively.
* Prepare reports on production metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure that all resources are available for uninterrupted production.
* Conduct regular reviews of scheduling processes and suggest enhancements for improved efficiency.
* Qualifications
o Proven experience in a scheduling role within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
o Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
o Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
o Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various stakeholders.
o A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
o Excel Proficiency to intermediate level
