Job Summary:
The Training & Development Business Partner plays a key role in the Central Loss Prevention team. With a passion for learning and innovative thinking, you will design and develop training tools and programs to support our education strategy.
Loss Prevention is vital within TJX, influencing all business areas to minimize losses and maximize profits.
We aim to provide an inclusive education strategy with a blended learning approach, ensuring all associates feel welcomed, valued, and engaged. Learning is a core part of our culture.
Your ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally will be essential to provide technical and leadership training using software such as Articulate 360, Vyond, and Adobe products. You will storyboard and create learning solutions including development programs, training guides, eLearning, and digital content.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to design technical training materials for Loss Prevention and other functions.
* Understand customer needs when creating learning solutions.
* Manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery.
* Innovate in training design to enhance delegate experience.
* Collaborate with HR and L&D teams.
* Work with Store Operations on overlapping projects.
* Build relationships with global Loss Prevention partners.
* Maintain flexibility across multiple projects and adapt as needed.
* Stay informed about new technologies and innovations.
* Identify opportunities for innovation to improve efficiency and productivity.
* Manage expectations and identify risks early.
* Engage others through interpersonal skills, fostering a coaching culture.
* Participate in ongoing development and training.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
* Previous instructional design experience or strong interest in training roles.
* Knowledge of learning technology software and ability to educate others on its use.
* Creative and modern thinking to innovate learning offerings.
* Operational knowledge of retail (advantageous but not essential).
* Based in Watford, UK.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Cultural awareness of European markets.
* Strategic and tactical delivery skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity.
* Influence at leadership levels to secure sponsorship.
* Stakeholder identification and relationship building skills.
* Proven ability to lead and deliver results.
* Ability to work independently and proactively under tight deadlines.
* Talent development and self-improvement focus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Articulate, Workjam, Vyond, and Adobe Suite (advantageous).
* Language skills in German, Polish, Dutch, or Spanish (beneficial but not required).
* Willingness to travel within UK and Europe.
* Full driving license.
