About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Programme Manager – Construction & Infrastructure
to lead, manage and deliver a diverse portfolio of projects across MTC technology themes. You will play a key role in ensuring projects meet quality, cost and delivery expectations by shaping programme requirements, coordinating cross‑functional resources, and applying best‑practice project management processes.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead and manage successful delivery of Construction & Infrastructure programme projects.
* Capture programme needs and translate them into effective project delivery requirements.
* Collaborate with resource owners and team leaders to ensure appropriate resourcing aligned to scope, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
* Manage scope changes through established Change Request procedures.
* Act as an advocate for MTC's project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of project management tools and procedures.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven leadership experience within a project‑based or professional services environment.
* Experience working on government‑funded collaborative R&D projects.
* Proficiency in MS Project and Excel.
* Strong financial management and analytical capability.
* Ability to identify resource requirements and negotiate allocation with team leaders.
Desirable Skills
* Experience delivering projects in an engineering or professional services setting.
* Highly organised with the ability to deliver through others.
* Strong analytical and investigative mindset.
* Knowledge of PMP/PMO best practices.
* Results‑driven, proactive mindset with a positive, solutions‑focused approach.
