Experienced Teaching Assistant Required - Primary School (Portsmouth) - September Start
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive primary school team in Portsmouth this September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to helping children thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Work with small groups and on a one-to-one basis to support pupils’ learning
Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and activities
Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Support children with additional needs where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience working in a primary school setting
A good understanding of the primary curriculum
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, enthusiasm, and a nurturing approach
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
