Applications are now invited for a 12 month fixed term, full time contract to cover alternative duties / maternity leave at Lerwick Ambulance Station as a Qualified Ambulance Technician. Applicants should have residence within the Lerwick area as no relocation expenses are available.
This Qualified Ambulance Technician vacancy is offered as a Rostered Position working within Lerwick where there are 4 weeks of relief working in a 15-week roster. This is known as relief in roster.
All candidates will be required to satisfy the following minimum entry requirements:
1. Qualified Ambulance Technician – recognised qualification.
2. Full UK driving licence with no more than 4 penalty points and a current C1 driving class.
Candidates will also be required to successfully complete the following selection elements;

5. Satisfactory application to the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (Disclosure Scotland)
