Position Details:
* Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (flexible between the hours of 5:30am and 10:30pm)
* Location: Manchester Piccadilly
* Contract Type: Permanent
At LEON, we believe in serving food that not only tastes good but does good. We’re on the lookout for a passionate and reliable Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team in one of our London retail food stores.
Key Responsibilities

* Ensure all team members receive a thorough induction and training
* Motivate and engage the team with daily briefs and weekly management meetings
* Lead shifts and ensure the right staffing for excellent customer experience
Operational
* Maintain food service quality to Leon standards
* Uphold standards in presentation and cleanliness
* Ensure compliance with hygiene, Safety and Licencing Regulations
* Secure the premises, cash and stock
* Undertake weekly stock takes and monitor maintenance needs
Financial
* Optimise profitability through sales and margin control
* Deliver on sales and EBITDA targets
* Report accurate purchase and wage costs weekly
* Complete all paperwork as per Leon procedures
* Keep costs within budget and support planning for sales/profitability
* Update maintenance records on Leon SharePoint
Live and Eat Well
* Have a passion for food and learning more about it
* Share knowledge and take initiative to get things done
* Care about doing things the right way and pay attention to detail
* Look after personal wellbeing and encourage others to do the same
