The Best Connection is currently looking for Punch and Brake Press Setters and Programmers for the night shift at one of our clients in Telford.
Duties
* Setting and operating punch or press brake machines
* Reading and interpreting drawings
* Creating and managing part drawings
* Selecting the correct tooling for each job
* Working with thin gauge materials, including aluminium and stainless steel
* Following standard operating procedures
* Checking the quality of parts produced
* Maintaining exemplary housekeeping standards for both machine and work area
* Performing other duties as required by the Shift Manager
Candidate Requirements
* Experienced CNC Punch Programmer, Setter, and Operator - minimum of 3 years' experience
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Capable of following processes and producing work to quality and safety standards
* Good problem-solving skills
* Self-driven and motivated
Hours: Night Shift - Monday to Thursday, 37.5 hours per week
Pay: Depending on experience, between £14 - £17 per hour
