Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal – 6 Month Fixed Term
We are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team at Otter Vets, East Devon. This is a 6‑month maternity cover opportunity with relocation allowance up to £5,000.
Responsibilities include first‑opinion work, small animal consults, and surgical caseload – with possible sole charge duties. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues. The practice offers flexible shift patterns, including part‑time options, and a typical full‑time schedule of 10 hours across 4 days per week plus 1‑4 Saturday mornings.
Our practice has an established history of over 70 years, providing veterinary care to local communities. We operate from two branches, one in the Jurassic coastal town of Sidmouth and the other in the nearby market town of Ottery St Mary, Devon.

About Us
