KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Give advice to Army units and Medical Officers on Mental Health issues Manage patient case load Support and be part of the leadership in the department in effective clinical care Work alongside psychiatrists and psychologists Be responsible for the assessment and care of patients with differing mental health diagnosis On operations you are expected to be part of or lead the Field Mental health Team (FMHT) providing assessment and in some cases treatment to personnel deployed around the world Opportunities to work within the Medical Regiments
