First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business, which is looking to recruit multiple Electronics Trainers on a permanent basis due to growth, based at their Gosport depot.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Deliver academic, technical, and laboratory assignment training modules, including mathematics, to trainees/students in line with the DCTT EMTC Course Documentation, as directed by the DTM, including both distributed training and distance learning.
* Advise Training Design on updates or inadequacies in training material and provide SME input as required.
* Maintain a personal CPD portfolio regarding new technologies, equipment, and training delivery methodologies.
* Develop lesson plans and training sessions in accordance with approved syllabi.
* Review and update course content to support technological advances, providing detailed input to Course Design when necessary.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to students/trainees to maximize course benefits and ensure high pass rates.
* Monitor student development, provide feedback, conduct discipline and training interventions, and flag any developmental needs or delays to the DTM. Deliver remedial training as needed.
* Manage student administration, including course reports and training records, and attend Course Debriefs as required.
* Ensure cleanliness, security, HSW, COSHH, and environmental standards within training areas, and promote awareness among students.
* Implement DCTT EMTC Standing Orders and QMS procedures in all work tasks.
* Participate in presentations to agencies and visitors.
* Perform any additional duties as directed by your line manager.
Assessment of trainees includes:
* Creating written/digital examination and progress test papers.
* Designing practical assessments and continuous evaluations.
* Marking exam papers, setting and grading coursework and homework, invigilating exams and assessments.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum Level 6 qualification in an engineering discipline (National Framework).
* Instructional experience in technical subjects within a military environment.
* CET Level 4 or equivalent (or willingness to complete).
* Proficiency in IT hardware/software within a workplace setting.

Salary: £34,000 – £42,000
Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 37 hours per week
