We are looking for an experienced Computer Vision engineer with proven experience to develop our AI pipeline applying latest advancements in thermal sensing data processing.
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for Implementing thermal sensing data algorithms, identifying data, project manage AI/Vision activities and coach junior team members.

You, being a core member of the team, will contribute to the most imperative parts of the product development process, understanding user challenges, creating interactive prototypes, validating ideas through user testing and exhaustively testing the product to be confident that we're shipping a product that meets all requirements.

What you will do
Working on a core platform leveraging computer vision to recognise actions, detect and track objects to provide real time feedback to users and connected devices (edge computing paradigm), you'll:
* Solve computer vision challenges using deep learning methods
* Implement and develop machine learning methods using best practice to innovate our existing platform
* Train and report model performance
* Push the boundaries of what deep learning can do by following and building upon the latest research in the context of object detection, classification and semantic segmentation.
* From day one, you’ll work closely with our team, project partners, advisory board, customers and end-users to shape the future of Tendertec’s products and business direction
* Develop tools for further automating research and analysis
* Code reviews and collaboration with multidisciplinary development team on a wide range of computer vision problems, from research and development to production, with the opportunity to travel and get involved in live testing.
* Building new Computer Vision models using Python and AWS for cloud deployment
Requirements
Your Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
The successful Computer Vision Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
* 5+ years experience of applying machine learning and deep learning methods in commercial environments
* Experience in building practical deep learning applications using detection architectures
* An in-depth understanding and experience with one or more Deep Learning Frameworks
* Experience in deploying models in cloud environments, i.e. AWS SageMaker
* Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced environment to have a positive impact on the world's problems
* PhD in Computer Vision, Signal Processing, Engineering, or Applied Sciences
* Ability to write clear, efficient and scalable code
* Proficient with state-of-the-art object detection algorithms
* Ideally good knowledge of state-of-the-art activity recognition algorithms
* Previous experience in using Computer Vision for digital health purposes is a great benefit
* Good communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Valid UK/EU work permit
