The role
Quality Systems Group Leader (Maternity Cover)?? Shillelagh?? Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm We’re looking for a driven Quality Systems Group Leader (Maternity Cover) to take ownership of our food safety and quality systems, ensuring full compliance with customer, legal, and site standards while leading continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Lead the site audit programme – internal audits, traceability, and customer/regulatory audits Own and develop the Quality Management System (QMS), including HACCP, SOPs, and manuals Support supplier quality management, including risk assessments and specifications Lead customer reporting, ensuring deadlines and accuracy Manage and support customer visits and audits Drive continuous improvement initiatives (complaint reduction, KPI performance, audit scores) Lead, coach and develop the quality team to ensure compliance and accountability About You: Essential: HND/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related Proven experience in food manufacturing quality systems Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS and food safety legislation Leadership experience with strong communication skills Desirable: Experience leading audits and improvement projects Strong analytical and data interpretation skills Experience with quality systems and MS Office
