History Teacher – Darlington
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Darlington that is seeking a passionate History Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join its successful Humanities department. The Role
You will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful discussion. The successful candidate will encourage students to explore the past, analyse evidence, and develop a deeper understanding of how historical events continue to influence the modern world.
Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you will take on the role of Form Tutor, supporting students' academic progress and personal development while contributing to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
* Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4

* Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
