Housing Lawyer - Fully Remote Working
Looking for more freedom and impact in your legal career? This sole Housing Lawyer role offers just that. You’ll support two modern councils on a broad range of housing work, including possession proceedings, antisocial behaviour cases, regeneration, and right-to-buy. The role is fully remote, with autonomy to shape your work.

Your Role
* Advise on all aspects of housing law, including landlord/tenant issues and unlawful occupancy
* Handle housing litigation such as evictions, disrepair, and land disputes
* Draft and review tenancy agreements, lease terms, and housing policies
* Ensure legal compliance, especially around affordable housing
* Deliver training and guidance to housing officers and councillors
* Collaborate closely with the housing team as a trusted legal partner
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive
* Strong post-qualification experience in housing law, preferably within or for a local authority
* Skilled in litigation, negotiation, and drafting
* Confident working independently with a proactive approach
* Collaborative mindset, able to embed into a client team
