Head of Business Development for Finished Vehicle Logistics
Our Finished Vehicle Logistics team has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Business Development. You will lead a team of sales professionals focused on identifying, qualifying, and closing new and existing business opportunities, building profitability and recurring revenue streams.
This pivotal role will be responsible for achieving in-country growth targets across our FVL products, aligning in-country objectives to global strategies, collaborating regularly with operational and product leaders.
Responsibilities
As the Head of Business Development for FVL, you will lead a team of practiced Business Development Managers, implementing a culture of high performance, engagement, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with FVL product and regional business development leaders, ensuring strategy alignment, execution, and success, defining targets, and hunting for new business wins with prospective clients and existing customers.
You will also dedicate time analyzing market dynamics, challenges, and competitor actions to ensure our offer remains competitive and attractive to customers. You will manage a pipeline of business with a focus on hunting new business wins with SME and large accounts, ensuring collaboration in-country and across the region, considering client requirements and operational capabilities.
Requirements
The successful applicant will lead our sales initiatives, working alongside product leaders and regional business development heads across FVL. You will be an expert in leading business development strategies and teams within the Automotive or Finished Vehicle Logistics industry, with significant experience in defining, leading, and deploying sales strategies that focus on both new business and existing client portfolios.

* A network of clients and contacts within the industry.
* Practiced in sales mapping and strategy building.
* Strong commercial, decision-making, and business acumen skills.
* Natural negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to build strategic partnerships.
* Experienced team management skills, practiced in developing talent.
* Experience working in a global/regional matrixed organization.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
