Your Role as a Roadside Mechanic
The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, powered by a team of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering top-notch motoring services. We are experiencing unprecedented growth and are excited to invite skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanics to join our Roadside Patrol team.
What You'll Need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
* A customer-focused approach.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Flexibility to work at relatively short notice.
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight if necessary.
Working Conditions:
You will work the equivalent of 40 hours per week without a set roster. Your schedule will be provided seven days in advance, with core hours sent three days in advance. Shifts will include evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
