Our client is opening an exciting new setting designed from the ground up to provide a genuine home-from-home environment for children aged three months to five years - combining well-equipped indoor learning spaces with outdoor areas that actively encourage exploration, independence, and plenty of fresh air. They are now looking for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to be part of this new chapter from day one - helping to shape the culture, build the team, and ensure this new setting opens to the highest possible standard. What Our Client Is Looking For Level 3 Early Years qualification or above - essential Proven experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager - essential Experience working with children across the full age range from babies to pre-school A warm, nurturing leadership style with a genuine passion for home-from-home early years care Enthusiastic about outdoor learning and encouraging independence in young children Ambitious and excited by the opportunity to help build something new from the ground up Organised, reliable, and a confident communicator with families and staff What's on Offer Up to £39,000 per annum Bonus scheme Heavily discounted childcare Training & development opportunities Company pension scheme Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Benefits & rewards portal Be part of an exciting new opening from day one Key Responsibilities Supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operational running of the new setting Playing an active role in establishing routines, culture, and high standards of practice from the outset Overseeing EYFS delivery across age groups from three months to five years, ensuring play-based, child-led learning throughout Championing the nursery's outdoor-focused ethos, ensuring children engage in meaningful outdoor play every day Building warm, trusting relationships with children, families, and the wider team from day one Supporting staff development, mentoring, and team management as the nursery grows Deputising for the Nursery Manager when required, maintaining strong leadership and continuity of care How to Apply If you hold a Level 3 or above, have experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager, and are excited by the prospect of joining a brand new setting from the outset, we'd love to hear from you.
