We are looking for a highly motivated Marketing Executive to join our team for 12 months in an exciting and international working environment.
* The position will be based within our Southampton office working 3 days in the office with Monday and Friday at home.
Job Summary
To deliver consumer and trade marketing plans through print and digital campaigns which include direct mail, email, advertising and events to support the commercial growth and development of our customer base while increasing customer retention. This includes idea generation, overseeing the production process and campaign management.
The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical thinker. They will be able to conduct insightful market research to establish a marketing strategy that will effectively reach the target audience. They should be comfortable evaluating the marketing process, and work to critique and improve its outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Support the Senior Marketing Manager and department on all aspects of print and digital marketing, such as: direct mail, email, events, advertising and for EMEA.
* Create design briefs, content and coordinate internal and external suppliers to produce print and digital marketing collateral, such as direct mail, emails, flyers, brochures and advertisements.
* Assist with management of freelance team including translators and external graphic designers.
* Coordinate advertising campaigns for EMEA regions for both trade and consumer publications across all channels.
* Support with copy writing regularly for trade and consumer emails.
* Manage the trade email communications, from brief, to copy write to build and deployment.
* Assist with campaign management by proofing of marketing assets, communication plans and reporting.
* Work with international teams or independent third-party suppliers, on marketing requirements and briefs in a joint and collaborative way, ensuring that that creation processes are efficient and delivered on time.
* Support with detailed proofing of print and digital marketing collateral.
* Assist with budget management, ensuring all spend is effectively tracked, reconciled, and forecasted.
* Support the organisation and delivery of national and international consumer and trade events, ensuring required marketing support is provided and delivered in a timely manner across all touch points, from set up, right through to post-event reporting.
* Create and deliver effective social media content and posts for trade and consumer.
* Manage trade platforms to ensure that brand and promotional content is kept up to date.
* Work with external advertisers to work on
* Attend and represent Oceania Cruises at internal and external events.
* Take part in all key EMEA regional marketing and sales meetings.
* Champion the Oceania Cruises brand by ensuring all engagement activities, both internally and externally, reflect the brand guidelines.
* Projects/Tasks may change or be adjusted according to business requirements along with the further development of the position, its role within the company and the overall organisational development.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications.
* 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
* Strong analytical, communication, time-management and creativity skills
* Strong ability to focus on customer/market and take initiative Experience with social media
* Experience of working with and briefing multiple internal and external suppliers.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Experience of collateral creation (copy writing, proofing and production).
* Advanced editing and proof-reading skills.
* Multi-task orientated.
* Ability to work independently and as a member of a small team is paramount.
* Computer literate: experience with Microsoft Office products is essential.
* Organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to perform under pressure.
* Flexible and adaptable to company requirements.
* Travel industry is ideal but not required.
