An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a passionate teaching team at Strode College. We have a vacancy for a Course Manager of A Level French.
We are looking for good subject knowledge and enthusiasm to lead and teach A Level French, within our wider A Level programme. Our students are hardworking high achievers with the ambition to succeed, and we are seeking a new team member to enable the most ambitious progression for our learners. Alongside teaching and managing French, you will be a personal tutor. We welcome applications from recent graduates in French or those from relevant industry backgrounds who wish to pursue a career in teaching.

Contractual Details
Rate of Pay or Salary: £23,976 - £39,544 pro rata per annum (£12,227 – £20,167 per annum), depending on qualifications.
Working Time: 828 hours per annum of teaching and professional duties over 198 days, pro rata for part-time. Expect to be on site for 34 hours per week during the academic year.
Contract Type: Permanent
Pension: Teachers’ Pension Scheme
Leave entitlement: 38 days per year plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part time), including discretionary days at Christmas.
Please note: the salary and conditions are effective until 31 July 2025, after which the college will merge with Bridgwater & Taunton College from 1 August 2025, potentially changing terms and conditions.
