My client is a market leading provider for the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical industries. With a focus on innovation and quality, they strive to deliver products & services that exceed expectations.
They are seeking a bright and self driven person with a demonstrable track record of selling into a niche product space. This person will be capable of identifying opportunities and having technical conversations with potential customers. This is very much a role where you will be measured on quality and not quantity of calls made.
This is very much a new business role and not account management. You will be a self starter who is eager to learn. A strategic mindset in identifying opportunities is the key to success in this role and researching prospects and understanding your reason for calling is important.
Previous experience in a technical sales role is preferred but not essential. There will be plenty of opportunity to learn within the role with a support team around you who are experienced in the nuance of their area of expertise. This role offers progression opportunities for the right person in a well established and successful firm.
The role:
* Using existing CRM database and sourcing new opportunities via various sources including LinkedIn and the internet.
* Mainly cold calling new and lapsed business but over time the role will develop to focus on smaller spending customers to increase their spend.
* Sourcing opportunities and meetings for the Senior Sales Executive to develop and close.
* This is a true Sales Team environment where all members are recognised for their involvement in a project and the development of the business.
* Assisting with incoming sales calls and supporting other members of the Internal sales team and customer support.
* Working to KPIs around calls made and leads generated.
This role is based on site in Salford and does not offer flexible working options. Hours of work are Mon-Thu 9am-5pm and Fri 9am-4pm.
