We are partnering with a highly successful, value-driven retail powerhouse to locate a pivotal Merchandiser to join their General Merchandise team.
Location: This role is based in their well-established Head Office in the West Midlands region, operating on a hybrid model (3 days in office).
Working in close collaboration with the Commercial team, you will be instrumental in delivering the range construction, planned sales, profit, and stock targets for your assigned categories.
Strategic Planning: Conducting historical analysis to develop robust sales and profit plans.
Trading Performance: Leading the weekly trading process, identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and formulating necessary action plans.
Proven experience in a similar Merchandising role within the retail sector.
Exceptional analytical and numerical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to translate data into profitable commercial action. Experience in General Merchandise or Clothing is highly desirable.
