Senior C# Engineer, Front Office | Commodities & Energy Trading | £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits
A Senior C# Engineer is needed for a fast-growing Commodities & Energy Trading firm that has more than doubled its technology team over the past 24 months. The business trades a wide range of energy products and, following continued success, brought all technology development in-house two years ago as it expands into new Power, Oil, Gas and broader energy derivatives markets.
As a Senior C# Engineer, you will play a key hands-on role in architecture, system design and delivery of front-office trading systems. This is a senior individual contributor position focused on engineering excellence rather than line management. You’ll work closely with the Head of Development & Architecture to understand business requirements, shape technical solutions and deliver robust, scalable systems.
Because the firm operates ETRM/CTRM platforms, prior experience in commodities or energy trading is highly desirable, particularly with exposure to the trade lifecycle. Candidates from other front-office asset classes with OMS experience will also be considered.

🚂 Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the London office (Leicester Square / Charing Cross / Embankment)

• Partner with architecture and product teams to design technical solutions
• Write clean, production-grade C# code and support delivery best practices
• Support modern engineering standards across the platform
