FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Tendering Specialist based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire on a Permanent, Full Time basis, with Hybrid working available. Working within a busy Tendering team covering global projects, this is an excellent opportunity for candidates to further develop their commercial experience through taking a lead role within the Tendering process, gaining exposure to a variety of clients, and working closely with various internal departments and senior management. Main duties include: Involvement at all stages of tender preparation for potential Oil & Gas and Renewable projects, from Early Engagement through to Late Life interventions, as well as Decommissioning Projects. Assist the Field Developments Group with preparation of cost estimates and cost reports in support of Concept, Feasibility, pre-FEED and FEED Studies. Prepare accurate and economic costing of tenders with due regard to risk assessment, competitor positions, supply chain and market trends. Organise the workload of the tender team to achieve tender completion on time in order that the necessary approvals are obtained prior to submission to clients. Preparation of internal tender authorisation papers, presentations and documents which may include presenting or supporting presentations to Senior and Executive Management. Development of bid-winning documentation for submission to Clients. Assist in the negotiation of terms and conditions of tenders with clients to achieve the best commercial, technical, and contractual position. Suitable candidates should have the following: Previous experience in a similar role covering tendering and estimating processes Experience with Excel or specific estimating software (essential) Degree qualified in a relevant subject (Desirable) Ability to review and qualify Contracts, as appropriate for the needs of the role Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills (Essential) Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
