* Working Days: Monday to Friday

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Security
* Participate in procedures to ensure the security of the premises and its contents.
* Open and close the premises and grounds, unless authorized otherwise by the Estates Site Manager.
* Ensure all windows are closed, and doors and gates are locked at the end of each day.
* Maintain safe custody of keys and manage key allocation for cleaning staff if applicable.
* Operate fire alarms, burglar alarms, building security systems, and security cameras; report faults.
* Respond to after-hour incidents such as break-ins and vandalism; secure premises and report damages.
Mechanical and Electrical Services
* Replace lamps and tubes with appropriate equipment.
* Inspect and report defects in firefighting equipment.
Cleaning (in conjunction with outsourced provider)
* Clean designated areas as directed by the Estates Site Manager.
* Assist in organizing and controlling cleaning staff to meet college standards.
* Maintain grounds, including lawns, hedges, drains, and pathways; ensure cleanliness and tidiness.
* Manage waste, including emptying bins and waste segregation.
* Provide ongoing cleaning services for spills, flooding, toilets, and weather-related issues.
* Clean external signs, light covers, and notices.
* Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are in good condition and stored correctly.
* Prepare facilities for various uses, ensuring internal and external glass surfaces are cleaned safely.
