About The Role:
Days of Working: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
* Building relationships with other finance team members (Transactional, Corp, etc)
* Assisting with audit queries (Internal & External) where applicable.
* Monitor completion of balance sheet reconciliations and support where required.
* Staff Expenses
* CIS Returns
* VAT Returns
* Weekly Aged Debt Reporting
* Daily Bank Recs for trading companies
o FES SS - Barclays & HSBC Recs
o Forth & Oban – Barclays Rec
o Active Air Con – Barclays Rec
o OCS Tech Services – Barclays Rec + HSBC Rec (Trading, Scotland & England Receipt Accounts)
Manage Active Air Conditioning ltd process:
* AAC month end process: Sales Close
* AAC prepare performance report, send to Scott Reid to provide provision adjustments
* AAC Management Accounts & working papers
* AAC Sales invoices
* AAC Intercompany Trade
* AAC Intercompany Balances rec
Other:
* FES Support Services Labour Recharges – payroll recharges to FES Ltd
* Daily CIC transfers from OCS Tech Services Barclays Account to relevant OCS TS HSBC Receipts account, either Scotland or England.
Essential Hiring Criteria:
* Math’s grades (5+)
* Currently studying towards their professional accounting qualification
* Proficient on Excel / Spreadsheets/ Formula’s
Currently working within the Finance Function (preferable but not essential).
