Responsibilities:
1. Develop and demonstrate strong knowledge of the technical and engineering principles governing the process.
2. Monitor and respond to the key process and quality indicators that represent the process performance.
3. Provide leadership in driving process improvements from either a productivity, throughput, or quality standpoint.
4. Own the validation program for the process including process and cleaning validation.
5. Partner with Operations to ensure clear manufacturing instructions are provided, and key issues are addressed.
6. Capture key learning in technical reports to ensure the process knowledge-base continues to develop in a progressive manner.
7. Support all safety and environmental policies/procedures, including coaching and feedback.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
8. Bachelors or Masters in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology or equivalent
9. Effective communication skills
10. Efficient approach to trouble shooting/problem solving
11. Ability to respond to changing priorities
12. Strong technical skills
13. Customer focus
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
14. Manufacturing or related experience.
15. Some statistical training is helpful
