Blackfield Associates is proud to support a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in their search for a Process Engineer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract in Durham .
This role is not a standard process engineering role —it is focused on technical design documentation and the ability to challenge, guide, and direct design packages and commissioning strategies during capital project execution.
Key responsibilities include:
Understand, review and challenge technical design documentations for facility layouts, equipment designs, P&IDs, PFDs, URS and HAZOP studies
Act as a technical authority on design documentation during the project lifecycle
Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on C&Q strategy
What does the right candidate need?
5 years+ experience in process engineering with the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry
Chemical engineering degree
Deep understanding of technical documentation used in facility, layout and equipment design, such as:
P&IDs
PFDs
URS
HAZOPs studies...
