The Role We are looking for a passionate and committed Year 5 Class Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis (with potential extension up to November 2026). This is an exciting opportunity to take a pivotal role in preparing pupils for the transition to upper Key Stage 2 and beyond. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver inspiring and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum. • Support pupils in developing independence, confidence, and resilience. • Monitor and assess progress, ensuring all pupils are challenged and supported. • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community. • Contribute to the rich extra-curricular and spiritual life of the school. About You We are seeking a teacher who: • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Has proven experience or strong interest in teaching within KS2. • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge, particularly in English and Maths. • Brings creativity, enthusiasm, and high expectations to the classroom. • Is a strong communicator who can inspire and engage pupils.
