We’re looking for a dedicated Lecturer – Plumbing & Gas to join a forward-thinking Further Education provider with a strong reputation for technical and vocational excellence.
You’ll play a key role in delivering engaging, inclusive teaching to Apprentices, helping learners build practical skills, confidence and industry knowledge that support long-term career success.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Deliver engaging Plumbing & Gas lessons to Apprentices and learners
* Develop learner‑centred schemes of work and assessment strategies
* Track attendance, progress and achievement, implementing interventions where neededProvide constructive feedback that promotes learner independence and confidence
* Support learners with varying barriers to education in an inclusive environment
* Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and education practice
What We’re Looking For:
* Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
* 3–5 years’ post‑qualification industry experience
* Experience teaching Plumbing & Gas in Further Education, ideally Apprenticeships
* Strong organisational, communication and learner support skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing
