The Research Associate Antibody Validation contributes to Abcam's Antibody Product Portfolio expansion by validating and characterizing new antibodies. This position reports to the Team Leader Immunocytochemistry and Flow Cytometry and is part of the Validation Team located in Cambridge and is on-site. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Perform Flow Cytometry and Immunocytochemistry assays. Prepare cells, plates or tissues for analysis. Prepare buffers and reagents according to defined standard operating procedures (SOP) Provide general lab support, maintaining a clean and safe environment. Accurately record experimental details in Lab notebooks or the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) system. Abide by Laboratory SOPs and work within Abcam H & S, Ethical and Quality standards The essential requirements of the job include Degree in biology or a related subject Good knowledge and understanding of immunoassay principles It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot or ELISA Join our winning team today.
