We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Mentor to provide support for students with social communication needs and ADHD in a primary and secondary school setting. This is a vital role where you will help the student access learning, build confidence, and develop strategies to thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide consistent support in lessons and around school

2. Implement tailored strategies to support social communication and attention needs

3. Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral staff to adapt learning approaches

4. Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and independence

5. Monitor progress and contribute to support plans

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

6. Experienced in supporting young people with SEND/SEMH, particularly ADHD and social communication needs

7. Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with strong relationship-building skills

8. Able to adapt quickly and think creatively to engage learners

9. Confident in working collaboratively with staff and families
