Permanent – Full Time (40 hours per week) We are seeking a dedicated Building Surveyor to join our team in the Midlands. In this role, you will be responsible for surveying existing social housing dwellings, producing technical information and coordinating the various departments to ensure the successful delivery of planned refurbishment and energy efficiency projects. Your expertise in building materials, construction methods, and environmental concerns will be crucial in identifying the scope of works and ensuring that all projects meet client specifications and standards. You will also liaise with residents to understand their requirements and choices within the specification, ensuring that their needs are met throughout the project. The ideal candidate will have a background in refurbishment surveying with specific experience in cyclical planned works and energy efficiency. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Dynamics 365 is desired, along with a good understanding of energy efficiency works and EPC data. You should be able to produce detailed condition reports, manage survey information, and promote health and safety standards.
