Overview
'Welcome host' to support the reception services, meeting room bookings and administrative duties. The role of the Welcome Host is to provide the highest level of care to clients and internal stakeholders, personally taking responsibility for requests to ensure that they are completed in a timely manner, exceeding expectations where possible. This role is not just to look after the security of booking visitors into site, but to offer a great welcome; taking care of all the little things that make a real difference to the experiences people have.
Responsibilities
* Provide a warm, courteous, and prompt welcome on arrival for all guests and staff.
* Actively and positively engage with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless service experience.
* Ensure that all guests and staff are dealt with efficiently so that an exceptional high standard of service is provided at all times, personally taking responsibility for their requests to ensure that they are completed, exceeding their expectations where possible.
* Be fully aware and knowledgeable of all client spaces including all Welcome and Hospitality areas to direct staff or guests or any queries as appropriate and always provide the highest level of client care.
* Be reliable, flexible, honest and a strong advocate for BaxterStorey and the client team.
* Ensure that you are security conscious, aware of penetration tests, tailgating, and ensure that all guests have a host and clearly display their visitor badge at all times.
* Be proactive and effective in the coordination and monitoring of meeting room bookings to ensure maximum utilisation of meeting rooms, while taking into consideration the practicalities and demands of other departments and clients.
* Provide a friendly and efficient service to all customers.
* Be responsible for assisting and delivering food and drink orders to clients in the meeting rooms and event spaces while maintaining a friendly approach and going the extra mile to anticipate needs.
* Treat colleagues as you would wish to be treated and demonstrate commitment to all company values in all aspects of the role.
* Attend to any reasonable request made by the client or management and communicate relevant information to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
* Build a highly trusted relationship with client staff and their clients, proactively engaging, listening, and promptly responding to queries, such as booking meeting rooms; demonstrate proactive client relationships and excellent service.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have excellent computer and communication skills, a proactive attitude, flexibility and the ability to work with different teams, and most of all, a genuine passion for delivering a 5-star service in a high-end corporate environment.
