The team
RPC are looking for a trainee eDiscovery project manager to join our eDiscovery team, part of the firm's Knowledge and Legal Technology function. This is a dynamic opportunity supporting legal teams and clients across a diverse range of matters. The existing team are a developed practice who deliver high quality eDiscovery solutions to RPC's legal teams and end clients. The team support a wide range of discovery work, including cyber incident response, DSAR, investigations and litigious exercises.

The team is based across RPC's Bristol and London offices. Candidates should be fully remote or based within a commutable distance to either Bristol or London offices. The role reports to the eDiscovery Manager, who is based in Bristol.
The role
Day To Day Duties Are Likely To Include
* Early engagement with legal teams around eDiscovery requirements, consulting and advising on appropriate solutions.
* Ongoing proactive communication and consultation with legal teams, patiently managing expectations around timing and cost, offering alternative solutions and making reasoned recommendations.
* Juggling multiple demands within tight timeframes, solving problems effectively under pressure.
* Troubleshooting technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
* Delivering high quality and timely output to internal and external clients.
* Working on multiple eDiscovery projects of varying complexity on a range of platforms.
* Being a team player. Working with the team towards an environment of constant improvement: enthusiastically sharing with and helping others; and taking responsibility for aspects of team development, such as process improvement, training and research etc.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Legal or computer science degree desirable, not essential.
* Genuine interest in a long-term career in eDiscovery.
* Well organised, able to prioritise effectively to deliver against internal and external client targets and to work well under pressure.
* Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
* Demonstrates initiative; creative in recognising and explaining potential solutions.
* An aptitude for using and adapting technology to optimise efficiency.
* A highly effective communicator - both written and oral.
* Willingness and ability to work directly with clients.
* Works commercially to achieve the objectives of the team/firm.
* Demonstrates a growth mindset and is committed to lifelong learning to build knowledge and expertise.
