Job Description:
Are you a skilled MET Technician looking to join a growing, dynamic team?
Due to continued expansion, Fix Auto Newton Abbot & Fix Auto Mid Devon are seeking an experienced and motivated MET Technician to carry out high-quality mechanical, electrical, and trim work on a wide range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately assess and complete mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs to manufacturer standards
* Strip and refit vehicle components in preparation for body repairs
* Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment and techniques
* Work closely with the Workshop Manager and Bodyshop team to ensure smooth workflow and timely job completion
* Ensure all repairs meet the highest quality and safety standards
* Maintain accurate repair records and comply with company and industry procedures
* Uphold a clean, organised, and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as an MET Technician ( Level 3 accreditation required)
* Electric/hybrid vehicle repair qualification ( Level 3 accreditation desirable)
* Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
* Full UK driving licence
Role Details:
* Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Hours: 40 hours per week
* Pay: £14 - £21ph
