Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support – Year 2, SEN – Personal Care)
9:00am - 15:00
Full Time : Temporary to permanent
£445 - £470 a week (Depending on experience)

Vision for Education are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a child with special educational needs in a Year 2 class at a friendly and supportive primary school in Bootle. This role involves providing 1:1 support, including personal care, and assisting the class teacher in ensuring the pupil receives the highest standard of care and education.
The school is a welcoming two-form entry setting, known for its inclusive ethos and strong sense of community. They are looking for a committed individual who can build positive relationships, show initiative, and contribute to a nurturing learning environment. This position is offered on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
2. Assist the teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
3. Support pupils' social, emotional, and educational development.
4. Work collaboratively with staff to deliver personalised strategies and interventions.
Requirements:
5. Relevant qualifications or proven experience in a similar role.
6. A positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
7. Right to work in the UK
8. DBS on the update service
