Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy and Optical Assistant to join our team at Werrington Pharmacy and Opticians in Peterborough. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring excellent patient care, contributing to our commitment to health and wellness.
Responsibilities
* Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing inventory
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients
* Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
* Assist with medication administration under pharmacist supervision
* Educate patients on medication usage and health products
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
* Support daily pharmacy operations and workflow
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
* 25 hours per week including Saturday
* Able to deliver excellent, friendly customer service working in a very fast-paced, stand-up job in a productive setting.
* Multitasking which is a necessity for the majority of the time.
* Very quick learner and fast-paced worker.
* The work will also involve assisting in our opticians department.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
