JOB PURPOSE:
Join the BBC Homepage team to help curate digital content seen by millions. As an Assistant Content Producer, you’ll play a key role in selecting and presenting the best of BBC output, ensuring relevance and quality for diverse audiences.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
* Curate the content of the BBC including news, sport, and entertainment
* Select compelling imagery and write promotional copy.
* Ensure content meets editorial, technical, and accessibility standards.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather and curate time-sensitive content.
* Participate in planning and organisational projects under direction of senior producers.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Knowledge of BBC editorial guidelines or willingness to learn.
* Experience creating high-quality digital curations.
* Strong writing and picture editing skills.
* Ability to use audience data to inform editorial decisions.
* Proficiency in IT and digital production tools.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
* Experience working in a digital media environment.
* Understanding of accessibility standards.
* Creative problem-solving skills.
* Experience with BBC content platforms like iPlayer and Sounds
