Specifically the postdoc will partner with both biological oceanographers (Matthew Oliver Jon Cohen) from the University of Delaware and optical oceanographers from NASA Langley. The postdoctoral scholar will make use of state-of-the-art visualization and computing facilities in Matthew Olivers Ocean Exploration Remote Sensing and Biogeography Lab and Robotic Discovery Lab.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in acoustics or oceanography with demonstrated strengths in large data analysis multivariate statistics acoustic theory and optical theory. The position will be primarily located in the Lewes Campus of the University of Delaware in Lewes Delaware however they will also spend significant time at NASA Langley in Hampton VA.
