The Technical Implementation Lead will act as the primary project coordinator for AV implementation projects, ensuring timely management of technical risks, issues, and actions. The role involves working with Operations staff to deliver projects Right First Time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as primary project coordinator from Project Initiation Meeting to ensure client provides required information in a timely manner.
* Lead significant projects to deliver on time and to contracted specification, supervising sub-contract engineers and specialist suppliers.
* Tailor installation test plans and thoroughly test prior to handover to System Commissioning Engineer.
* Ensure AV Control, audio/DSP, and video conferencing systems are correctly commissioned.
* Assist with production of RAMS and O&M documentation.
* Resolve service events relating to implemented systems and provide ongoing support as required.
* Participate in out-of-hours PAVA installation work on an ad-hoc basis.
Technical and Personal Requirements:
* Strong technical education and formal training in audio and AV technology.
* Extensive professional AV Project Lead experience, including planning, execution, DSP commissioning, control programming, and AV network design & configuration.
* Demonstrable service support skills, with ability to identify root cause and implement solutions.
* Good communication skills to explain complex technical issues to clients.
* Logical, analytical approach to problem-solving.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage in stressful situations.
