The opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Director of Revenue Management – an inspiring senior leader in aviation, with broad commercial and revenue management expertise, to help shape the future of British Airways
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, and as a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team, this role will play a pivotal part in defining and delivering high-level commercial strategies, ensuring we achieve optimal unit revenue results, while influencing the long-term vision of Commercial at BA.

Key responsibilities
1. Delivering global, and ancillary revenue targets, driving timely actions to achieve results
2. Developing innovative pricing and inventory plans aligned with strategy and distribution channels
3. Leading route and cabin strategies for all cabins, managing performance to maximise flown revenue.
4. Overseeing revenue decisions for Joint Business ventures, Interline Partners and codeshare
5. Driving IAG revenue synergies through collaboration with IB, IAG and EI
6. Setting appropriate fares for all products, including provision of pricing guardrails where relevant
7. Ensuring inventory availability, including redemption products
8. Managing disruption proactively with Operations, Crew and Fleet Planning and Network to protect revenue.
9. Managing the network flow to reflect optimal mix, considering operational imperatives at LHR.
10. Leading a high-performing Revenue Management data science team, enabling GR & deep Commercial insight
11. Inspiring, coaching and empowering the RM team to reach their full potential
12. Playing an integral role in shaping the culture of the Commercial Directorate.
About you
13. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
14. Experience of working at a senior level in Revenue Management for a premium networked carrier
15. Broad understanding of the airline industry and commercial environment developed through a breadth of commercial roles
16. Revenue Management experience for different airline models (desirable)
17. Strong, collaborative leadership ability, able to operate cross functionally
18. Track record of delivering sustainable and significant change and reducing complexity
19. Experience of working in a highly pressurised environment with prioritisation critical.
