Overview
Role: Fleet Manager Reports to: HR Service Delivery Director Location: Watford
Purpose
Lead and continually improve the Car Fleet function, delivering a compliant, efficient, cost-effective and employee-focused service. Accountable for policy governance, supplier management, driver compliance, fleet optimisation, data insight, sustainability performance, and leadership of the Car Fleet team.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop the Car Fleet team, maintaining high service standards and delivery against SLAs and KPIs
* Conduct monthly 1:1s with clear objectives, feedback and development plans
* Drive continuous improvement across fleet processes and systems
* Resolve complex and ad-hoc fleet issues using optimal solutions
* Own and maintain fleet policies (Company Car, Car Allowance, Occasional Use)
* Partner with HR, Payroll, Reward, Pensions, Data, Resourcing and HR Systems to deliver fleet solutions
* Support planning and prioritisation of HR initiatives
* Manage supplier relationships and negotiations to deliver value and savings
Outcomes & Measures of Success
* Consistent achievement of KPIs and SLAs
* Accurate and compliant fleet and employee data (MID, Key2, iTrent)
* Positive user feedback and engaged employees (YVOS)
* Strong cross-functional relationships within HR Service Delivery
* High team engagement, motivation and performance
* Data-led decision-making with measurable savings year on year
