Software Test Engineer / SDET Central Bath / Work from home hybrid £35,000 - £50,000 bonus private medical 8% pension A leading software house in the heart of Bathhasa requirement for a Software Test Engineer, to write automated tests for UI testing, web services and performance testing. The company have invested heavily in their testing function and are introducing new tools and techniques, so there will be a learning curve for everyone - this isnt a job that requires someone who ticks every box from day one, but someone with the ability to pick things up quickly. It would be perfect for an ambitious Software Test Engineerwith an interest in software engineering, as most of your time will be spent writing automated tests in Python. It would suit someone with some previous development experience (not necessarily Python - Java / C# etc. is also fine), who is keen to build on these skills. You might have worked as a Software Engineer in Test /SDET, have a Computer Science degree, or done personal coding projects. The company are committing to providing training and career developmentopportunities andwill support you in this progression.
