We are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants (Progress Coach) to join schools around Oxford on a temporary basis from October 2025.
Joining the Class Act supply pool of staff, you will support students’ academic progress, personal development, and well-being, working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to help every pupil reach their potential.
Duties as Teaching Assistant:
* Support students’ learning in the classroom through targeted interventions and one-to-one or small group support.
* Help monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and guidance.
* Mentor and coach students to develop study skills, motivation, and resilience.
* Assist in planning and delivering enrichment or support sessions.
* Contribute to the positive behaviour and well-being of students, working collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams.
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.
* Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant.
* Ability to motivate and support students of varying abilities.
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
