We are looking for motivated and driven individuals with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of Older People; with experience of care within a highly complex yet rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will undertake the keyworker role, which involves creating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans, keeping accurate records of support planning, and ensuring the service user is offered opportunities, experiences, and care/support within their care plan. The role also involves promoting service users' access to local community opportunities and enabling them to live meaningful lives.
We provide ongoing care and support to vulnerable older people; our care services include care homes, respite, STAR unit, and day services.

The Person
Provide care and support that meets the Health and Social Care standards.
Work collaboratively with other Council services and partner agencies to support effective planning and delivery of care and support.
Work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
Have or be able to work towards the required qualification as specified by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Once qualified, it is the individual's responsibility to inform the SSSC accordingly within the set timeframes.
To ensure registration with SSSC within 6 months of starting, you must apply within 3 months of your start date. Maintaining registration requires holding or working towards the SSSC benchmark qualification (including SVQ Level 3), completing ongoing professional learning, and submitting annual declarations via MySSSC. If you do not currently hold the benchmark qualification, your registration will be conditional upon achieving it within the specified timeframe.
Before appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and join the relevant PVG scheme.
As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant has three months to apply for registration.
